Il fume lui-m\u00eame ses salamis selon les m\u00e9thodes anciennes et artisanales h\u00e9rit\u00e9es de son p\u00e8re et de son grand-p\u00e8re. Le tout premier salami produit par Imperial est baptis\u00e9 \u2018Kopenhager\u2019.<br><br>L\u2019entreprise conna\u00eet une forte croissance gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 des saucissons Imperial. \u00c0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1950 est cr\u00e9\u00e9 le tout premier atelier. L\u2019hygi\u00e8ne est d\u00e9j\u00e0 alors une grande priorit\u00e9. En 1966, la famille De Spiegeleire fonde <strong>Champlon Salaisons<\/strong>.\u00a0<br><br>Avec Marcassou, l\u2019entreprise lance son tout premier \u2018saucisson traditionnel ardennais\u2019 sur le march\u00e9. L\u2019assortiment s\u2019\u00e9tend, avec du p\u00e2t\u00e9 de campagne, du p\u00e2t\u00e9 cr\u00e8me, du saucisson de Paris, du saucisson de veau et du saucisson aux champignons.<br><br>En <strong>1987<\/strong>, le <strong>Filet d\u2019Ardenne<\/strong> fait son arriv\u00e9e dans la gamme. Ceci confirme \u00e0 nouveau toute l\u2019importance qu\u2019Imperial accorde depuis ses d\u00e9buts \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne.<br><br>Le VLAM (centre flamand pour la promotion des produits agricoles et de la p\u00eache) introduit en 1992 le label de qualit\u00e9 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lekkervanbijons.be\/vlees\/meesterlyck\">Meesterlyck<\/a><\/strong>. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, Imperial lance le\u00a0<strong>Jambon Leielander<\/strong>\/Jambon de la Lys, qui d\u00e8s son d\u00e9veloppement satisfait aux exigences strictes lui permettant d\u2019arborer le label. Elle se concentre sur la production des jambons cuits et des p\u00e2t\u00e9s. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, Imperial est la premi\u00e8re entreprise de charcuteries situ\u00e9e en Flandre \u00e0 recevoir <strong>la certification ISO9001<\/strong>.<br><br>Le nouveau mill\u00e9naire d\u00e9bute avec l\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019entreprise <strong>Amando \u00e0 Destelbergen<\/strong> dans le groupe Imperial. En 4 g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, Amando a amass\u00e9 un consid\u00e9rable savoir-faire en mati\u00e8re de production de salamis de qualit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure. En 2014, l\u2019entreprise a repris Campofrio et, par l\u00e0 m\u00eame, Imperial Meat Products. Outre de la viande, Sigma commercialise \u00e9galement des yaourts et des fromages.<br><br>Sigma appartient au groupe <strong>Alfa<\/strong> et occupe plus de 45.000 personnes.
